As part of the visa liberalization initiative of president Zelenskiy, Chinese tourists will not be required a visa to travel to Ukraine. The new rules will go into effect from 1 August 2020 until 31 January 2021.
Chinese tourists will be able to stay in the country for 30 days within six months.
According to the president, the key reason for visa liberalization is to develop friendly relations between the states and boost bilateral cooperation.
Earlier the National Bank of Ukraine stated that since the first quarter of 2019, China had become the largest trade partner for Ukraine.
Zelenskiy has also canceled visa requirements for Australia, New Zealand, and Arab states.
